VERSAGE® XO NAPOLEON COGNAC
Napoleon XO cognac is part of our top range of quality items and stems from the Laclie family. In this context, it should be noted that Napoleon means that the youngest element of the blend is at least six years old, but on average 20 years and more, which is consequently ideal for brewing a noble style brandy.
Basically, Cognac has a wonderful ancient history that goes way back to the 3rd century. And just like a handful designated other noble eaux-de-vie of this kind, our VERSAGE® XO Napoleon Cognac, named after the city of Cognac, France, is produced in the surrounding wine-growing region of Charente and Charente-Maritime, in accordance with all legal requirements, including double distillation in copper stills, maturation for many years in French oak barrels from Limousin or Tronçais, and a blend of specific grapes, notably from Saint-Emilion (Ugni Blanc).
